Well he doesn't top Johnson. Imagine ruining (partly) what's looking like a stellar career stepping out of a golf cart.

"Golf club shattered" is the worst lie in the history of the world. I guess they can't say drunken bar fight, though.

I didn't realize that his goal totals were so low. I realize he's just now entering his prime and maybe I have unrealistic expectations but I would've thought he would score a goal more than once every 3+ games.Since making his debut in the 2007-08 season, he has totaled 91 goals and 199 assists over 333 games in six seasons.

He's been at 26 goals per 82 games over the last 3 seasons. He was low goal scoring in his first two. During that time its 35 goals per 82 pace in the playoffs.

Yeah well all those exploding shafts were bound to get him eventually.

Seems like more than a 5-6 week injury. Let's hope they rush him back too early.

Is it possible to shatter a golf club, when used in the intended way?

It's very hard to do unless you intend to break it.

Only thing I could think of would be a hidden root or boulder. But, that is rare.columbia wrote:Is it possible to shatter a golf club, when used in the intended way?

Either he really sucks at golf, or he was really drunk. I prefer the latter.meecrofilm wrote:Apparently it's because he sucks at golf.

It probably happened at Miniature Golf. He most likely went all Happy Gilmore on the clown at one of the holes.
