My dad has James Neal on his roster and wants to try to trade him for a D man who can score points. What would be fair value there?

Good stuff. Who takes the job in Detroit? Mrazek?

I think Lou is squarely in that middle tier next year, just not this.

I'd probably wait to make sure Florida is no good before targeting guys in that bottom tier. My other goalies are Bish and Andy. The Lehner owner is downright impossible to deal with unfortunately.

I agree. I have Lindback on my farm too, which is useful for this year only but still would be nice with lehto being a bandaid boy.

I am so frustrated that Lehner hasn't had that job for 2 years now. I don't really understand it.

I'm really hoping Campbell blows up the year before Lehtonen finally has the big injury at the end of a contract or something and he just works his way in there.

Lindback is toast. Yes, Mrazek will take the job. He'd be the backup this year but Gustavsson had another year on his deal...

I would try to trade Anderson after that shutout...

Yeah, with the Anderson extension this year and Lehner's struggles last year, I think Andy is a solid asset for two more years.

Thankfully (as a Palat and Callahan owner), the Stamkos line and top PP has been clicking the past couple games, so I'm hoping that he doesn't disturb that.

Yeah, I'm guessing Garrison becomes the point trigger man.

Yes, Stamkos and Hedman were playing on the point. I almost think Stralman's skill set makes for a better fit in the Hedman role, but I expect Garrison will get the first look.

Also, Troy, I would like to acquire Hedman. I have him in my other leagues and am looking to increase my TB shares in LGP. Don't fear the 6 weeks without production--let's make a deal!

Garrison is not a strong passer, he's a one-time shot and should probably go on a different unit than Stamkos. Anton Stralman was not often used in New York, even when they needed a RHS, instead they played Girardi - a heinous puck player...Stralman, Carle seem to make some sense...Stamkos has been roving a little bit on the Tampa PP so far and then he sneaks away to the left dot and flicks on a red light...

So, what am I to do with Slava Voynov, since I am the lucky soul who has him in my league? Is he worth hanging onto to see how this plays out, or just outright dump him and risk losing him if he comes back? I am in 1st place in a 14 team roto league, but my defense is not very solid.

Byfuglien, Chara, Phaneuf,Vlasic, Gudas...Voynov, Jay Harrison, Hjalmarsson

Looked at the scoring for Draft Kings leagues today. Wow. 0.5 points for blcoked shots and shots on goal vs. 2 points for assists. Bizarre. Do player prices really accurately reflect a player's big shot taking/blocking tendencies?

Ew, that's silly...shot blocks in a single game are almost a random occurrence.

So doing a single season fantasy league, I started with this:

7 Tuukka Rask, Bos G
18 Nicklas Backstrom, Wsh F
31 P.K. Subban, Mon D
42 Matt Duchene, Col F
55 Corey Crawford, Chi G
66 Eric Staal*, Car F
79 Brian Elliott, StL G
90 Kevin Shattenkirk, StL D
103 Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Edm F
114 Jack Johnson, Cls D
127 Erik Johnson, Col D
138 Derek Stepan*, NYR F
151 Justin Schultz, Edm D
162 Brandon Saad, Chi F
175 Valtteri Filppula, TB F
186 Nick Bonino, Van F
199 Matt Moulson, Buf F
210 Valeri Nichushkin*, Dal F
223 Brian Campbell, Fla D
234 Alec Martinez, LA D
247 Ryan Murray*, Cls D
258 Tyler Ennis, Buf F

And now through trades and free agency I look like this:

Nicklas Backstrom F
Alexander Ovechkin F
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins F
Matt Duchene F
Valterri Filppula F
Filip Forsberg F
Tanner Pearson F
Andre Burakovsky F
Brendan Gallagher F
Ondrej Palat F

P.K. Subban D
Kevin Shattenkirk D
Brent Burns D
Jack Johnson D
Eric Johnson D
Justin Schultz D
Alec Martinez D

Marc-Andre Fleury G
Corey Crawford G
Semyon Varlamov G

I love it, it's like Be a GM but more fun
