Blues/Stars/Sharks/Preds? None of those teams have any real deep playoff experience at all...should be interesting seeing how they stack up against the East this year.

Actually the Sharks have at least been to the conference finals three times, which is more than you can say about the Caps.

true, and I would put them about equal to the Pens if we ranked the teams in order of playoff experience...but the other 3...not so much. I guess the Isles and Caps are in the same boat though.

Anybody here follow the Western Conference closely this season? I have a notion that Blues-Stars is the de facto conference final but am realizing I know very little about the Preds or Sharks. Is it wide open among those four?

I would give the Preds a chance just due to Rinne. The Sharks are notorious for losing series they should win. Stars are rotating goalies which seems to be working. I think the Blues are the most balanced team and the Stars have the most offense.

Blues fans love replay. Refs called a goal on a puck that wasn't even close to going over the line. NO clue what they were looking at. It hit the crossbar, dropped to the ice about a foot away from the line and was cleared away...THEN the called goal.

Isles playing well for having Griess as their goalie. This is the matchup they tanked the last game for.
