I'm compiling a playlist on Spotify for "epic" songs. Free Bird, Stairway to Heaven, Come Sail Away, Foreplay/Long Time, etc.

What songs should be on this list?

Purple Rain, 2112, Cemetery Gates, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, The Grudge, Trilogy Suite, Op. 5 (I was trashing Yngwie in the thread last week, but this song is nothing if not epic ), Pull Me Under (DT certainly has more 'epic' material, but that's still a fine song), Kashmir, Still Of The Night..............

'Walk' in my favorite Pantera song, but I don't know that I'd call it epic.

Walk is Epic because the riff is so simple yet so awesome. Everything about the song just works to the nth degree.

Several greats in one concert. I could listen to that Dennis Brown song all day. I think he may be the best singer in all of reggae. I was first introduced to reggae by a fellow metalhead in 1990, btw, so it's been a while for me!
