The sad thing is, he took that risk for a show on Destination America.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I'm actually quite enjoying this. It's a bit of old fashioned heeling on Miz's part to not allow Mizdow to do much of anything other than imitate him on the ring skirt or the floor. They're building a slow burn to an eventual split and feud that will have a much better pay off than if we got to see Mizdow do everything we want to see him do.DudeMan2766 wrote:Only the WWE would say Hey lets take the mic out of this guys hands and make him just imitate a guy who was on the Real World

At least this is what I am hoping is happening. If it's not...well, then it's just stupid.
We don't see enough of this in WWE, as they're always looking to advance a storyline quickly and move on to the next thing. That's part of why WWE is so average (at best) right now -- they let nothing develop. NXT builds stories and characters and lets them play out naturally over time. It's what fuels feuds and teases fans. Ultimately, they come back wanting to see what happens next. With WWE, they don't give you an opportunity to want more, as they feed it to you before the craving hits.

So So dumb. Even dumber doing it in front off like 100 people live.
Jeff's been doing crazy bumps his whole career though. So I guess it is what it is. that was just a stupid bump though. No way to really protect yourself.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Cena's gonna take the belt and go home and rants about what it's gonna do to the show, Smackdown, etc.
Hasn't he been paying attention for the last few months?

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Not that it would ever happen, but if the WWE wanted to make things interesting they'd "fire" Cena. Have him come back after a few months and everyone goes crazy, I guess Wrestlemania

Ramen telling fairy tales now. Guess they have to give him a promo he can remember. That little tale goes way Brett if Ramen sticks with the Show is old point. Call him old man, say his bones creak when he walks back stage, make fun of him for using Kust For Men on his chest... Nah jack and the beanstalk.

Flipped over from the game during a commercial to see Reigns cutting a promo where all he is doing is reciting the Jack and the Beanstalk story. Awesome follow up to last weeks "Faster than a speeding bullet, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound" speech.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Cant really fault Reigns for the content of those promos, I'm sure someone in the back writes them for him and he just goes out and says what they tell him. Not that he is a great promo anyways, but the content I'm sure isn't his idea.

Screw it being scripted, Reigns probably is wearing an earpiece and they're feeding him lines

Talk about ruining a prime chance to get back a mega over Bryan and push him from the Rumble... Guess their thought is to increase the buy rate for the Rumble.
