Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
While we're all watching this replay of RAW from July can someone explain to me why its a big deal for Seth Rollins to be put in a championship match. They've (Rollins, the authority) have been fighting for this for some time. Um, he has the briefcase, he can get into a title match whenever the hell he wants.

lol that ending had to be a complete troll and middle finger to the audience. I mean how else can you write that, approve it, and put it on tv.
Awful.

"Let's hear it.....for JOHNNNNNN CENNNNNNNA"
(pin drop)
The fact that they weren't even booing says a ton.
Worst show of the year? You might even be able to say that 50 weeks from now.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I was waiting for Sting, who would've made a 1/10 RAW a 4/10 by just showing up and beating up HHH, but nope, just absolutely terrible.

I'm mad at myself for tuning in every week(even if its not for the whole show) and subjecting myself to this. I should just stop. I can't though. It's in my blood. *sigh*

I'm with you, it's like an addiction, no matter how bad it is, I still watch this crap.skullman80 wrote:I mad at myself for tuning in every week(even if its not for the whole show) and subjecting myself to this. I should just stop. I can't though. It's in my blood. *sigh*

No more Monday Night Football for another 8 months, NHL on Mondays is hit and miss whether there's even a game on.
I'm with Skullman on this. This product sucks and as much as I can't stand it, I keep flipping back to it. I want to think it's going to get better but with Vince's idiotic daughter and doofus son-in-law making regular appearances every hour, this product cannot evolve from the current ****show that it currently being displayed.

I will say though that NxT is def worth the watch every week if you have the network. None of the crap that hinders Raw or Smackdown happens on NxT.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Me too. I spent the better part of the last 2 months missing most of the RAWs. I have been either watching hockey/football on Mondays then falling asleep before the main event. Of course I didn't miss a beat on these storylines. The only thing I'm still confused about (and I don't think it has anthing to do with me missing shows) is that I have no clue why it was Cena, and Cena's call alone to bring the Authority back.skullman80 wrote:I'm mad at myself for tuning in every week(even if its not for the whole show) and subjecting myself to this. While I don't watch an entire show, I still flip back and forth and if I'm awake watch the very last segment...and I hate myself for it. This isn't even bad stuff, it is literally not trying. They can't possibly be. My fear is they're going to sucker people back in with Bryan at the Rumble, have him not win, and they know that's going to piss people off and use that to draw people back in to see Bryan. You KNOW they're going to that.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
It's annoying because I haven't watched WWE with any consistency since the mid 00s and I finally get back to watching RAW and even the PPVs which I never could before and its the worst run of shows in my lifetime.
It reminds me of the last years of Al Davis with the Raiders. Vince is so out of touch with his fans that he's convinced this is what we want. Even Steve Austin openly criticizes the shows on his podcast.
Its **** and Vince needs to retire.
