Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I fell asleep pretty early and missed almost all of TLC and I'm glad I did. Just went back to watch the last 5 minutes of the Cena match and holy hell you guys weren't kidding about it being overbooked. And that was just from the draw/restart on. And I just gotta laugh about how awful Cole is. He couldn't sell a blind person the gift of sight but treats Reins coming thru the crowd like its Mick Foley flying off the top of the Cell.

You have the face of your company fighting arguably the top heel in your company (with Brock gone), and you use it as a platform to put a guy over who no one cares about, and had to win a rigged award to justify forcing him down people's throats. Awesome

During the overbooked mess of a finish for Cena/Rollins, two refs came down to argue who went through the table first. Why didn't they simply point out that Cena already put Seth through a table with the AA?

From Reddit WWE insider MetsFan4Ever
Coming out of the PPV last night, I've been told many in the company are not happy with the end result. While many knew it would be tough to top the NXT show, there were people who thought it could be pulled off.
There have been rumblings that some talent knew they couldn't top NXT so in a silent protest in favor of Triple H, some superstars were described "mailing in" their matches last night. Many are in favor of Triple H and what he has done with the NXT product and feel it is time for Triple H to take the lead on the main roster.
John Cena held a talent meeting about an hour ago which was described to me as forceful yet calm in his approach. Cena stressed that a silent protest is not what the roster needs. Instead, they need to go out there and start stepping it up every night for their point to be proven.

Just switched over real quick to during a break in the Pens game. I'm not quite sure Chris Jericho, a 40 something year old man with blonde highlights and wearing that scarf, is in the position to make fun of Fandango.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I don't blame the main roster for being frustrated. Vince needs to step down. I can't wait until HHH takes over the main roster. NXT is by far the best show WWE puts on week in and week out and I give HHH a ton of credit for that.shafnutz05 wrote:From Reddit WWE insider MetsFan4Ever

Is it worth driving 2 hours for a Chikara show? They seem to not come further south than Greensboro, NC.
