Take out the floor seats and I still think it would have been 3K for a hockey game. A way bigger crowd than I had thought. And it was a hot crowd too, into every match all night so made it fun, but it was your typical small town "everyone loves the good guys" thing. But that was no biggie, made it fun. And the matches were actually pretty good. I haven't been to a show here since 2009 and every time people said it was basically going thru the motions and it was noticeable, but the guys put in some effort last night. It was a fun show. Channeling my inner Jerry Lawler here tho I got to see Paige do that leather jacket unzip thing she does in person and that would have been worth it alone. I dont think she's as pale as it comes across on television but she's still unreal hot.FreeCandy44 wrote:Hows the attendance?

Didn't realize the PPV was tonight. Goes to show how much I've been paying attention lately.

They've spent 10 minutes moving stairs around, 2 minutes wrestling and 0 minutes actually using the stairs

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
With all the backstage talk of how the WWE crew wanted to outdo NXT and show they're the better product, it's downright sad how bad this PPV is. The crowd is responding accordingly, with overwhelming silence.

This match is brutal. If JR were calling it, he'd be pleading with the wrestlers not to do these things. He'd be selling the extreme measures they're going to in order to win. Instead, these goofs are cracking jokes and giggling.

@nocera, I thought the PPV was quiet because I had the volume down. It wasn't. The place has been dead all night.
Thank you @WWE for asking the crowd to be quiet for this match #ChairsMatch #TLC #yws4life

As much as I like Ambrose, I have almost zero interest in this match. Just can't into it.Is there actually anyone in the crowd tonight? I can't hear anyone they're so quiet. THIS CROWD SUCKS! #WWETLC

I don't blame the crowd at all. This show is awful. First they have to watch Johnny Football get destroyed and now this. I almost feel bad for them.

So the opener and the main event have been great. Literally everything else was crap.
I may have spoke too soon. An exploding tv?

Only fitting that the PPV ends with something like that. A turd finish for a turd show. TVs don't explode because a cord gets yanked out.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
so they have ringside monitors that don't break when wrestlers throw them, but this monitor explodes from a cord pull?
seems legit

It ended so anticlimactically. Just like "meh" after a fun match

So sounds like I didn't miss much with this PPV? Still need to watch NxT though.

Ziggler/Harper was really good. Everything else was pretty bad. Special mention to the Rollins/Cena match for possibly being the most overbooked mess of all time

This reminded me of late WCW booking. Just an absolute cluster.Froggy wrote: Special mention to the Rollins/Cena match for possibly being the most overbooked mess of all time
Watch Ziggler/Harper and Ambrose/Wyatt (which was great until the finish). Take the time you saved from skipping the rest of the crap and watch NXT. I'm considering giving up on Raw until the Rumble and watching the weekly NXT show instead.skullman80 wrote:So sounds like I didn't miss much with this PPV? Still need to watch NxT though.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I've been trying to figure out why Cole thought he needed to sell there. I assume he got clipped by Rollins but I couldn't spot it on camera. It made for a whole lot of awkward King/JBL talk though. I also love how after about 5 minutes, he just got back on mic and continued as if nothing happened.
