He's got a lot of crap to sell on that auction. Wonder what's up with Burt besides being old.

For some reason, Burt Reynolds is one of those actors that I just can't imagine being "old".

His address is on the title for the Bandit car. It's literally no more than 10 minutes from my house. I'll have to take a drive out there and see what kinda classy place it is.

What's funny is that that car wasn't even in the movie. They describe it as a "promotional vehicle for the movie".

Okay looking at certified A4 or 328i but found a great deal on a 2014 used 328i. Under 30k and 13k miles.. I guess if it comes with the original manufacturer warranty, is there any reason to worry about it not being certified if it's that new? I guess I'm worried as to why it isn't certified, I've only leased before so this is new to me.

If it comes with the original warranty I don't think certification really matters. I'd still do a vehicle history report on it and if you're buying from a BMW dealer give them the VIN (or the key) and have them pull the service record. If it's not a BMW dealer call over to one with the VIN handy and see what they can tell you about it.

Still a vehicle like that usually comes certified. I would definitely ask why it's not certified. Usually you get a much better warranty when certified as opposed to just balance of the factory warranty (which by the way, make sure its fully transferrable - I know Kia and Hyundai only transfer 60k miles instead of 100k)

So I got a Living Social deal in m email today....

• $129 ($259 value) for a three-lap ride-along in a Lamborghini LP560, Audi R8, or Nissan GTR driven by a pro driver
• $179 ($259 value) to drive three laps in a Lamborghini LP560, Audi R8, or Nissan GTR
• $209 ($299 value) to drive three laps in a Ferrari 458 Italia or McLaren MP4-12C

This would be at Willow Springs, about a 90 minute drive north of my home. I'm tempted.....

The Ferrari 458. Might also pony up for the three pro-driven laps, just to get an idea for braking and turn-in points early on to maximize the hotlaps.

Got myself into a 1997 12 valve cummins this weekend. Much much cheaper to run around. I was going nuts during hunting season without a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

How is the Lambo cheaper than the Ferrari? LP560 is no joke.

The Murcielago has been out of production for four years. But that does seem good value for money, comparatively.

I have a similar school picked out in Ireland when my wife and I finally get to take that vacation. Learning RHD manual in a supercar should be a hoot.

The shift pattern is the same, not mirrored. So 1st is still forward and to the left.

So, like, what? I'm going to practice now with my left hand? It'll be like shifting The Stranger.

New Bond pic 'SPECTRE' will see the main villain driving the C-X75, Jag's never-built hybrid hypercar.

I see a similar thing showing up on our Living Social. I don't think they'll be doing any drives here for the next few months though.

What is the circuit where you'd do the laps?
