Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
It's a shame that Ambrose will hit the Cena ceiling in two weeks. I'd be shocked if he breaks through it. Only a few people have.
Anyone else find it interesting Pittsburgh hasn't had a televised event since the Rumble hijack? Guess they are still sour.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I assume he means this
The event is notable for the overwhelmingly negative crowd response during the Orton-Cena title match, as well as towards the end of—and after—the Royal Rumble match, when the fans booed Rumble winner Batista and repeatedly chanted for Daniel Bryan (who competed earlier in the night and was not involved in the match). Fans voiced their displeasure over social media, and the event was covered by many major news outlets. Retired wrestler Mick Foley also displayed disgust over the event on his Twitter account.
The event also marked the final wrestling appearance of CM Punk, who walked out on WWE the next day despite still being under contract. Punk was subsequently pulled from advertising for future events and later indicated that he had retired from professional wrestling.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Could have sworn there was a Raw or Smackdown here after the rumble.
The Rumble crowd isn't even how the Pittsburgh crowd is normally there were a lot of fans there that wouldn't go to a Raw or Smackdown if it were here. The Rumble is a huge PPV, so lots of people flew in from other places, which is why the crowd was as crazy as it was compared to how the crowd is normally. Still was awesome though the reactions. Makes the show better when you have that kind of crowd.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Good point on the Rumble which I still think to this day it's still a bigger PPV than Summerfest(pun intended) due to the Rumble being the kick off to setting storylines for Mania. Now that I remember they did have a smackdown show but that can always be edited if it's not to Vince or anyone's liking as opposed to Raw or a PPV.
I was sitting right next to the Spanish announce table at the rumble after Punk went through it. After he went through it he layed there for about 5 minutes(Like he did for good parts of the match) he then picked up the telephone at the broken table and started saying stuff. Not sure who was on the other end or he may have been just trying to be funny who knows?

I fear Jake the Snake might not be here much longer. Get him on TV and let's appreciate that guy before it's too late.

I know I'm asking for a lot, but can somebody give Chrisley a chair shot during his promo?

I don't know where RAW is at tonight but I would have given anything for Chrisley to show his face last week in Brooklyn. That crowd would have destroyed him.JS© wrote:I know I'm asking for a lot, but can somebody give Chrisley a chair shot during his promo?

Wife and I haven't watched in about 2 months. First comment from her, "doesn't seem like they changed stories at all."
