For what it's worth, that wasn't the one I was talking about even though he probably is one of the most obscure folks mentioned here.

Just any FYI here, and I dig the song also. For the people who think this "obscure" im sure once you hear this song it will click. And for those who dont know...Paul Revere isnt the singer, he is the keyboardist.

Stern did about 20 minutes on Revere yesterday, heard a few of their songs including the **** version of Louie Louie.

My actual favorite line from 'Private Parts' is right after the Match Game scene when PV calls them into his office.

"You god damn motherf**kers."

It's actually a line Mrs Tif and I use all the time, usually in traffic.

Giamatti is just so perfect in that movie. I had never seen Metheny for realz until his passing, so listening to replays of the NBC era shows now it is impossible for me to see any other image in my head than the look he gives at the urinal when Stern calls PV's wife on air.

My old man made me listen to a lot of them in my youth...he really dug them for some reason.
