Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
That wasn't a bad match. Reigns looked competent and Orton brought his working boots. Good false finishes and reigns going over strong,

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I don't disagree with you nocera, but what you said I think is part of the problem. The crowds these days are pathetic. "You still got it" chants aren't for Stephanie friggen McMahon. When Vader came back on RAW a while ago, when Golddust became a regular again, stuff like that is when you chant that. I understand crowds want and need to be a part of the show, but not too long ago a Sin Cara match got a "This is awesome" chant (actually, I may be thinking about WM and El Torito's "Ho-ly s***!" For EL TORITO and chanting 9.99 with HHH and having signs in the crowd beyond .nocera wrote:you have to admit they had the crowd right there with em.skullman80 wrote:The brie/ steph storyline was good until the affair thing last week. The wrestling however in that match was putrid. The fact we had to watch that rather than say the Usos defend their titles or Cesaro vs rvd getting bumped to the pre show shows how dumb wwe can be at times.nocera wrote:Um... I really enjoyed Brie/Steph. Brie really impressed me with a few of those high spots and Steph looked good after such a long absence. I sae the turn coming a mile away but I never would've expected to see Brie take out HHH. I liked it

30 seconds into the match, Cena kicks out at TWOOOOOOOOO from his opponents finisher. Sounds just about right.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I'll disagree on the crowd thing. If they think it's awesome then let them chant. If they still think stephs got it.., let em chant.
I disagree with them.,, but crowd participation is always a Good thing.
Lol and if Cena comes back from this then it is the ultimate troll.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
"is he...is he telling the referee something??"
Nope. Its just Cena visibly calling out his spots to perfection again.

That was a fantastic show. I enjoyed every match on the card. I can't remember the last time that's happened.

This, I was worried when the first two belts switch hands. It's rare when all of them do. Overall it was a better show than Mania IMO.nocera wrote:That was a fantastic show. I enjoyed every match on the card. I can't remember the last time that's happened.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
After Summerslam went off the air, the Los Angeles crowd booed John Cena as he was walked to the back chanting, "Thank you Lesnar" and singing, "Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye" at the former champion.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
With Nikki turning heel and the WWE network struggling, could a Cena heel turn be coming up?

You hope would so but honestly I wouldn't expect anything other than "Cena comes back and wins the title with heart and love for the company".Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:With Nikki turning heel and the WWE network struggling, could a Cena heel turn be coming up?

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
They aren't turning Cena Heel. They just won't do it. What's funny is if they did turn him heel, I bet he would become a defacto babyface, because all the guys(myself included) who have boo'd him like crazy because his character was so stale, would end up cheering him because the change in direction of his character would probably be cool to watch. He'd be one of those tweener heels, kind of like Punk was.
He needs a change in his character no matter what though...so so badly he needs it.

That opening just zapped any desire I had to watch Raw tonight.
