No doubt. The show I saw in '88 was almost the same setlist as Seattle - except instead of The Four Horsemen, I got to see Leper Messiah.

Scoop the mids and crank the frequency. I love that tone as well. I used to have an ADA MP5, the same amp from Justice. I loved that thing.

The Offpsring are playing the Smash album in its entirety tonight. I would like to see that, but Jack White on Sunday and Gogol/Man Man in Cleveland last night... so, not an option really.

Re: Let's talk about music
I'd like to, but it depends when I get out of the office. Called off yesterday so I'm playing catchup on a bunch of stuff.
I'm thinking it's close to 70/30 that I'll be there.

Re: Let's talk about music
The Man Man/Gogol Bordello pairing was pretty great. Man Man's set list could have been a bit more aligned to what you'd think a Gogol crowd would want, but they still put on a great show.

It appears that Sleater-Kinney is a band I had overlooked and shouldn't have.

So Limp Bizkit released this today:

Even by their standards, this is bad.

That's one of those bands I tried to get into, but just couldn't for some reason. I have friends that were hardcore fansGaucho wrote:It appears that Sleater-Kinney is a band I had overlooked and shouldn't have.

Re: Let's talk about music
They were probably better live than recorded, so that's a factor.

Re: Let's talk about music
I just arranged and acoustic version of Come Sail Away for an open mic. This is awesome.

I need some ideas for more songs to arrange acoustically. Just vocals and guitar.

I like unexpected covers (both in content and execution). Like Johnny Cash covering Depeche Mode.
