Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Wyatt suffers from not getting the upper hand... ever. He was completely dominated in his feud with Cena. The one match he did win was an after thought. He's great on the mic, he's good in the ring, but eventually he has to start winning some matches or he loses his credibility and what he says starts to mean nothing.

Ziggler's repeated elbow move is horrid. Should have stuck with the prior gimmick. Hey guys did you know he's a show off? Oh and THE DEMON KANE

Plain and simple he hit the Cena Ceiling. You're built up only to be fed to Cena and they you fade into obscurity. Rusev is next.

Only if Lana taunts Cena Bella about him tasting her pie and liking the commie cherry more than her plastic American melons.DudeMan2766 wrote:Plain and simple he hit the Cena Ceiling. You're built up only to be fed to Cena and they you fade into obscurity. Rusev is next.

I think the WWEs problem is that they're just running out of characters and gimmicks. And probably talent too.
I was just looking at the current roster...man its just so weak.

Again, this was the first time I've watched in years, but Ambrose looked like a glimmer of hope. Needs to get bigger though.Pavel Bure wrote:Pro-tip:Ambrose did a flawless figure four on the fly. Miz still can't do it.

Eh they have a lot of talent but a lot font is booked terribly or just wrong. Like Cesaro paired with Heyman.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:I think the WWEs problem is that they're just running out of characters and gimmicks. And probably talent too.

Oddly I feel like he looks pretty jacked when you look at his arms. I was surprised because "The Shield" armor made Ambrose and Rollins look much smaller.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:Again, this was the first time I've watched in years, but Ambrose looked like a glimmer of hope. Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Ambrose got such a huge pop when his music hits. And I liked when he hit whats his name with the chair not giving an F that he gets disqualified. Like I said before, Ambrose as a nutcase is going to be great.
So pretty much the last 3 new "Heyman Guys" have completely failed. I blamed Curtis Axel and Ryback's suckiness on why Paul freakin Heyman couldn't get them over, so technically I guess I can't lay it on creative as to why Cesaro was junk as a Heyman guy but im going to anyway.

Cedar I as a Heyman guy also started with a Barak Lesnar reference. Then it was like, "oh yeah here's Cesaro."DudeMan2766 wrote:Ambrose got such a huge pop when his music hits. The talent they have on the roster, and especially in NXT is probably some of the best it's been in a while.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:I think the WWEs problem is that they're just running out of characters and gimmicks. And probably talent too.

They just don't know how to book it.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Is your name Vince McMahon? Not every guy has to be a jacked up super freak. This isn't the 80's. They have plenty of "big" guys on the roster. There is more than enough room for the Ambrose/Rollins/Zigglers and when they were around Punk and Bryan's of the world.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:Again, this was the first time I've watched in years, but Ambrose looked like a glimmer of hope. He just seems too thin to become a big star. I'm not saying "heart attack at 50" jacked but he can put on 15-20 pounds.skullman80 wrote:Is your name Vince McMahon? Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Ambrose is fine at his size. He's built enough and since he's a crazy its believable that he can be really tough. Also, if wwe wasn't marketed for 8 year olds ( or as Heyman put it tonight, fans that don't "get tucked in by their mommies at night") this is the stuff Ambrose can bring lol

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Sorry not trying to be a *****, its just the ongoing thing that you have to be a certain size to be a "star" in wrestling. It drives me nuts, and Vince seems to have a fetish with big guys always being on top. You can make a guy that is 5'10 225 a star just as easily as some guy who is 6'4 250, or 7 ft 350, if you book a solid story behind them and said person can wrestle and deliver on the mic when they have to.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:He just seems too thin to become a big star. Fans will get behind a guy no matter what size if they find a reason to get behind him. You mentioned Bryan earlier and why did he get so big? It's a combination of things. For one he is one of the best wrestlers in the world. Period. WWE or non WWE, japan etc, the guy is that good. The fans slowly started to latch on to him because he was an under dog story, and WWE had their hand forced when fans started hijacking PPV's when Bryan got screwed over. More than anything else though Bryan brings the goods in the ring, and I think most wrestling fans respect that.
WWE always puts together great video packages and the Bryan one they did before Wm 30 shows why he got as big as he did.
