Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Well at least that made sense miz doing that as a heel. Kind of smart actually.
Still would have rather had Cesaro or ziggler win though.

There are so many odds stacked against Cena. No way he wins.

Not that I really care about wrestling (at least not since 10 years ago) but I still can't believe the Taker lost his streak to Brock Lesnar. Brock freaking Lesnar.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
It was honestly the Undertaker's request. It sucks it was done by a part timer, but I feel like it does make the most sense. The streak was built up to be so huge and a few Hall of Famer's "couldn't" end it, even with Hell in a Cell matches, no DQ matches, etc. Really the only option they had left was a UFC Champion/ Monster like Lesnar. At least they can say it took THAT to end the streak.MalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:Not that I really care about wrestling (at least not since 10 years ago) but I still can't believe the Taker lost his streak to Brock Lesnar. Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
It's awful to know how a PPV is going to end even when a large percent of the viewing population doesn't want it to end that way. What a stale and horrible company. I give it a month til I'm getting the results of RAW from you guys the day after.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Tonight was all just a transition to Summerslam. I knew that going in. The wrestling wasn't bad tonight, the booking decisions as usual were suspect at best.

Pretty sure Lesnar is going to show up to start the build for Summer Slam. It's in the same place he showed up to F5 Cena for one of his previous returns.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
See the problem for me was the wrestling WAS bad. Aside from the tag match, which really didn't do much until the final fall, the matches were slow and predictable. Not to mention the number of botches. WWE wrestlers are usually much more polished than they came off last night. It was a sloppy performance.skullman80 wrote:The wrestling wasn't bad tonight

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
She didn't even mention it by name. I'm not surprised they vaguely referenced it though. Wrestling isn't known for being moral or PC by any stretch.

Also, how did Daniel Bryan get so popular? Isn't he like 4'9"?
