It's on Netflix too. I've been thinking of giving it a shot.

My schedule has been out of whack, but I"m about half way through season 3 right now... its hard to stop watching once you get in a groove of watching a couple episodes.

What a show.
Spoiler:
Two gay main characters - including a thug - would've been a big deal now, nevermind in 2002.
As you may have noticed TL and I just binged the series.

That's Omar who became my favorite character. Enjoy it. It was a fantastic show best binge watched IMO.

24:
Spoiler:
Very strange with the 12 hour time jump before the last segment. But I guess somehow it worked.

Heller turned into a better President on the show than the last one they had in Season 8.

Totally saw that ending as being open enough for another summer series in the future, whether it be next year or later.

I already watched the episode, but good god spoilers man!!!!

Re: 24, I agree that it is a great fist pump/high five show.
Spoiler:
I like the twist of Jack being recruited by the Russians to help a Chechen plot or something, but it seems too farfetched.

Does Leftovers improve after the first episode?
So far, this seems like a doomed NBC show.

finally caught up on 24. overall good season. i thought president heller did a good job this time around. a few classic jack doing jack things throughout the course of everything
Spoiler:
i wish they would have killed jack off. giving him a silent clock at the end is sort of cop out if you ask me where they have an out if they dont do another season but probably left themselves with enough runway for another season of kiefer wants to come back. i feel like jacks death would have been good closure

I don't think so. It's a great show for giving out high fives. I think it's an incredibly fun show to watch.
Best way to describe 24. It delivers a lot of what is promises. No more. No less. its a lot like Rocky IV in that context.

its a great show to watch with the bros. its heyday also corresponded with kenny the kangaroos college years and we had a lot of fun watching it.

never did the 24 drinking game though.

Didn't see Linda coming, knew about Angie thanks to the network blabbing about it during commercials for episode 2.

Hey, look! New characters despite it being an isolated society concept! Long lost Uncle who lives in the town but hasn't been seen for 8 years, and a science teacher who has been researching the Dome meticulously and is really pushy, yet didn't show up at any town meetings, try to speak to the councilman, the radio station, or the reporter. SEEMS LEGIT, I'LL BUY IT.

Haha, this was easily the worst show I watched in a while. It was so bad, I couldn't even enjoy making fun of it while I watched

Hmm, I don't know if it's any better or not. Last episode was so strange, I have no idea where they're going.

Finally got around to watching The Strain premiere and loved it. Hope it isn't too weird for general audiences.

so about the wire I binge watched it through amazon prime and I thought it was really good points of the final season made me cringe a lot. but.
Spoiler:
I can't remember I think the 3rd season when brother muzone is looking to get back at omar and he sends his thug into the gay bar was Rawls there I think it panned over to him at the one point or did I just imagine that

I really go back and forth on it. I've had the same thought at times, but then I've had a lot of hope at times Episode 3 was quite different from the others, and I really enjoyed it.

We finally watched it last night, while waiting for Last Ship and Falling Skies to tape. Ended up watching the 7/13 unforgettable and last night's Falling Skies, but didn't get to Last Ship and the new Strain recorded at 1am.

I pretty much lost hope in The Strain after the 2nd episode. the way they try to crowbar the agent's family, his custody battle, and addiction into that episode i could give a care about. horrible writing. pathetic.
