My schedule has been out of whack, but I"m about half way through season 3 right now... its hard to stop watching once you get in a groove of watching a couple episodes.Froggy wrote:so, i finally decided to start watching Breaking Bad a few weeks ago. I just finished the season 3 finale... HOLY POOP!

Does Leftovers improve after the first episode?
So far, this seems like a doomed NBC show.

Best way to describe 24. It delivers a lot of what is promises. No more. No less. its a lot like Rocky IV in that context.eddysnake wrote:Crankshaft wrote:24 sounds like a frustrating show to watch.
I don't think so. It's a great show for giving out high fives. I think it's an incredibly fun show to watch.
its a great show to watch with the bros. its heyday also corresponded with kenny the kangaroos college years and we had a lot of fun watching it.
never did the 24 drinking game though.

Haha, this was easily the worst show I watched in a while. It was so bad, I couldn't even enjoy making fun of it while I watched

Hmm, I don't know if it's any better or not. Last episode was so strange, I have no idea where they're going.columbia wrote:Does Leftovers improve after the first episode?

I really go back and forth on it. I've had the same thought at times, but then I've had a lot of hope at times Episode 3 was quite different from the others, and I really enjoyed it.columbia wrote:Does Leftovers improve after the first episode?

We finally watched it last night, while waiting for Last Ship and Falling Skies to tape. Ended up watching the 7/13 unforgettable and last night's Falling Skies, but didn't get to Last Ship and the new Strain recorded at 1am.FreeCandy44 wrote:I agree...cant wait to see the next episode.Hockeynut! wrote:Finally got around to watching The Strain premiere and loved it. Re: TV Shows
I pretty much lost hope in The Strain after the 2nd episode. the way they try to crowbar the agent's family, his custody battle, and addiction into that episode i could give a care about. horrible writing. pathetic.
