I agree and I also think he loses a lot of leverage as a face. He's better at playing a heel but obviously that would mean having to turn Wyatt face.skullman80 wrote:I also think that Jericho putting everyone over, as awesome as it is, kind of loses its luster after a while. I mean you know whoever he is feuding with is going to eventually get the upper hand. It's just not that big of a rub anymore. I mean the guy has had an awesome career, and its certainly earned the right to come back whenever he wants to take a break from Fozzy, but it is what it is.

Just wait pretty soon Cena is gonna pass Flair in total title wins. He's pretty close at this point.

Rollins didn't look good coming off the rope and they're kept him out of the camera angle. Think there might be a legit injury, especially since there were trainers running over almost immediately.

Rollins hurt his leg when he was thrown from the ring. Ref threw up the "x" and the dr. ran over to check on him. He wasn't shown in camera after that. Uh oh.

Remember the dude who said last week that Raw was going to end the same way every night until SummerSlam?! Yup.

The Rollins injury could be a work to set up plan C, aka My Client Baaaarock Lessssnar's return.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
It could be a work, but that seemed like a rushed improvised on the fly finish, not what they originally planned after Rollins looked like he got hurt. That makes me think it was legit.

Also seemed kinda weird that none of the announcers addressed it and that he was kept out of the camera view.skullman80 wrote:It could be a work, but that seemed like a rushed improvised on the fly finish, not what they originally planned after Rollins looked like he got hurt. JBL said something. I think it's a work. Routine over the ropes, exaggerated bouncing leg up in the air, exaggerated holding knee and crawling away from the ring.JS© wrote:Also seemed kinda weird that none of the announcers addressed it and that he was kept out of the camera view.skullman80 wrote:It could be a work, but that seemed like a rushed improvised on the fly finish, not what they originally planned after Rollins looked like he got hurt. Plan CM Punk sounds good too. Not that it means anything, but he was moved to the "alumni" section of the webpage today.
As far as the Rollins injury goes, everything I've seen seems to believe it's a work used to get him out of the main event of Raw so it ended with the fatal Fourway contestants. I wouldn't be surprised if Rollins/Ambrose is delayed until SS with both selling worked injuries.

There's a lot of speculation among fans that WWE may drop the current storyline with Lana and Rusev after the civilian plane was shot down in East Ukraine last week and the ongoing controversies surrounding Russian President Vladimir Putin. A similar situation happened back in 2005 when WWE nixed the Muhammad Hassan character after the July 7th bombings in London.

and I almost forgot that there's a PPV tonight. I'll probably throw it on the projector, let it run in the background.

So tonight either ends with CENAWINSLOL or Brock costing Cena the title. Here's hoping...

I miss the days of specific PPV sets. This looks exactly like Raw.

Halloween Havoc had the best set. This is a good match though.nocera wrote:I miss the days of specific PPV sets. This looks exactly like Raw.

Started out slow but the final fall was great. Nice start.
Not sure why the Usos still keep the titles though. Now their fued with the Wyatts has to be done. Who else is left in the tag division?
Also when was the last time any member of the Wyatt family won a big match? Bray over Daniel Bryan at RR?

Welp... How do you advertise a match and not deliver? That was the match I was most looking forward to. I'd be furious if I dished out 60 bucks to see it.
