Tell me about it. Weird to remember something so vividly and realize a new born baby has grown up and graduated high school since those events happened.Froggy wrote:Oh god... 18 years? Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Somebody on my FB feed said the Network is free this week, no CC required.
Looks legit to me: http://www.cagesideseats.com/2014/7/7/5 ... eview-week" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Speaking of the network, read a tweet that production of Tough Enough is stalled due to budget cuts. Can't promise new content then not provide it. Now offering another free preview tells me theyre kind of hurting in that department.

Yes, there is a free trial this week. In addition to SNME, there is supposed to be a preview of the Monday Night War show. It's not a coincidence that new content is getting added right around the time the 6 month commitment is up for the day 1 subscribers.
Just thinking of the amount of footage that WWE owns is mind-boggling.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I just signed up for the trial. Watching Great American Bash right now. Pretty cool, but I can't see myself watching enough to justify buying it. Hell I finally got Netflix in February, watched Breaking Bad, and haven't opened it up since. Still paying for it.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Network pays for itself for me just for the PPV's. Plus then I can watch old stuff whenever I want. It's an easy sell to me, but can see how others it may not be. They do have some cool original stuff though like all the WM look backs they have been doing and stuff. Lots of great content.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Even if you only buy one PPV a year (like I did), the network is a no brainer. 6 months worth of archived footage, original series PLUS all 6 monthly PPVs for the price of ordering one PPV from your cable provider.
Like I said, no brainer.

Wow this match has it all. A simultaneous JBL "WE GOT OURSELVES A FLYING USO MAGGLE!!" and a Lawler high pitched "LOOKITTHIS!!!!" I hate this announce team so much.
