It was on the apron? Awesome...skullman80 wrote:It's an awesome spear spot,., but risky. Not a lot of room for protection for either guy off the apron like that.
Now this diva match is bad....
I haven't watched wrestling in a decade, maybe more. Shane McMahon vs Kurt Angle at KotR(?) (the glass incident) is probably my favorite match of all time.

Yeah guy standing on apron. Other guy spear through middle ropes. Both guys hit floor hard. Both guys 300lbs +.PensFanInDC wrote:It was on the apron? Awesome...skullman80 wrote:It's an awesome spear spot,., but risky. Not a lot of room for protection for either guy off the apron like that.

That shane vs angle match was nuts. Poor shane dumped on his head cause the glass didn't break. Then they did the spot a second time. Shane was a trooper.

Lol Cena wins.
Unless this leads to lesnar destroying him at summerslam I don't like it.

Clarification: I've hardly watched since Wrestlemania. After Bryan was stripped from the titles, I've just read the dirtsheets for results. Watched on the Network tonight. Have no interest in a Authority vs Cena angle or a Cena vs Lesnar match.
Lesnar should have been in this match and won the title tonight.

The fact that Cena won tonight shows just how out of touch the WWE is. I'll be done when it's time to return to work.

That match (and hell in a cell) define the sacrifice and showmanship of the business. They did it for the fans. What a match...skullman80 wrote:Yeah guy standing on apron. So Cena is a 15 time world champ now? Knowing WWE I bet he eventually passes Ric Flair for most world titles.

And Flair will probably be out there clapping, shaking his hand and "passing the torch" (kissing Cena's ass) when it happens because he'll need the money, which makes me sick.Cagsjr724 wrote:So Cena is a 15 time world champ now? Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
In other news, AIW out of Cleveland had their Absolution show tonight, which is like their Wrestlemania. It looked to be a great show from what I read. Last year's Absolution was both my favorite wrestling show of 2013, and had my 2013 MOTY, a 30 min draw between Michael Elgin & Josh Alexander. It featured a stalling suplex that lasted to a count of 100. Probably more awesome than it sounds.

If anyone has to be a transitional champ, may as well be Cena. It won't damage him at all.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Why exactly was the authority upset that Cena won? Wasn't the whole point they didn't want Reigns to get the belt? With the way their own announcers and video packages present John Cena you'd think the COO would be happy that guy is back on top. Just stuff that doesn't make sense.
