DUI while driving on a suspended license? Yeah, things are going great in his life.shmenguin wrote:the horrorGreat58 wrote:Seems like he's been going through a tough period in his life.
Malone, whose Suburban was impounded, also has seven traffic violations since June, including ones for speeding, failing to stop at a traffic signal and driving without proof of insurance. Tuesday he was cited for driving with a suspended license; he has an April 30 court date for that.
A very high percentage of people have had 2-3 beers and then sat behind the wheel of a car. Most people don't have cocaine in their possession.Chefpatrick871 wrote:Good to know that in your book possession is worse than a DUI.C4 Row E wrote:I have no sympathy for people like this. I've never drank and drove to the point of losing control of my car. Not once. Anyone who has is more of a problem than a cocaine user.C4 Row E wrote:A very high percentage of people have had 2-3 beers and then sat behind the wheel of a car. Nice to see you have a leniency when it comes to a DUI. I'm sure the police would let all those ppl go because hey its only 2-3 beers. He broke 2 laws. One is worse than the other. Having some coke on your person will not lead to a car crash. (I'm citing drug possession not use)C4 Row E wrote:A very high percentage of people have had 2-3 beers and then sat behind the wheel of a car. I read he entered a program located in CA. I would say his hockey season for 2014 is over.LostPenguin wrote:Any information on the Malone situation less than four days old?

Driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license seems to indicate someone who isn't managing their life whatsoever. Those are not "difficult" issues to handle, millions do it all the time without drama. Oh yeah, the DUI and the coke charge is also a bit of a problem too.shmenguin wrote:for someone with essentially unlimited wealth, a series of traffic violations doesn't seem like it would matter much - and malone appears to have treated it as such. the arrest is bad for him. the other stuff doesn't mean anything.

I hope he gets some help and gets his life back in order or in fact in order for the first time.
I think it was driving without PROOF of insurance which is different. driving on a suspended license is just a matter of "I don't care, I'm driving anyway."brwi wrote:Driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license seems to indicate someone who isn't managing their life whatsoever.
