With the emergency of Linus Ullmark for MODO (2.08 GAA, .931 SV%) and the acquisition of Neuvirth, I have a hard time seeing Enroth winning the starting job.Idoit40fans wrote:I still like Enroth. I can't believe I'm there! Before the playoffs, I was ready to be a seller and start over next season! Chad Johnson has been my savior!Kraftster wrote:The LGP league is 1 week, which favors my opponent.
So, they just discount the last week of the season?

Neuvirth doesn't seem to impact Enroth's status at all, he isn't close to being good. I'm hoping Ullmark spends a year in the A first.tfrizz wrote:With the emergency of Linus Ullmark for MODO (2.08 GAA, .931 SV%) and the acquisition of Neuvirth, I have a hard time seeing Enroth winning the starting job.Idoit40fans wrote:I still like Enroth. In today's addition of Kraftster's which obscure players to start tonight, please answer the following:

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
After much deliberation today, I think I'm going to go with:
Byron, Calvert, Nelson, Lindholm
Gudas, Diaz, Stone, Donovan
Lindholm over Jensen and Garbutt is a tough call.
Donovan over Olsen and Faulk is as well.

I went with Garbutt over Lindholm at the last minute.
Faulk scored.
Faulk scored.

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
Hm.
I'm benching Quick tonight, so factor that into your equation, hahah.
I honestly feel uncomfortable recommending either way -- tough call indeed. If you've already started Bishop, I'd say go Lundy, but first game without McD could be tough.

Why do you have to pick 2? Just play Bishop vs. Cgy? No?

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
Well, I can start two. Its a points league, so I'm not killing ratios or anything. Almost always would make sense to start a goalie if you think he has a decent shot at a win. I wouldn't sit both Lundy and Quick. I think I'm going to play Lundqvist since Quick isn't even a confirmed starter yet and Colorado usually looks a bit less punchy without Duchene.mikey287 wrote:Why do you have to pick 2? !@*# you, Debbies. Apparently the Flames are an absolute force (17-10 in last 27). My opponent in this 2 week matchup has 2 shutouts from Bob, 1 from Quick, and now 1 from Ramo (to go with Giordano and Cammalleri).

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
I had a one-week championship where I got 3 shutouts against (and a 4th that was left on the bench, Miller's draw with Philadelphia)...still won 6-5. So, a 1st and a 3rd in my two money leagues this year. I can't complain...

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
Yeah, I had Quick and Kari too.. the one week they don't pick up any shutouts is when Khudobin gets his first for the other team. Annoying indeed. Still ended up 3rd, but.... should've won all things considered.

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
It is looking like I'm going to end up with a 1st (that one is over) and two runner ups, though I have a decent shot in one league and a really long shot in the other.
I have Getzlaf and Bishop on all three of my teams. Bishop has hit a wall, and Getz has been fairly quiet. I have OV on two teams. He is really hurting me--the Caps suck. I managed to squeak out the win in the one league with him already, but I really need him to show up to come back in the other. Problem is, I'm going against him in the league where I am down by quite a bit, so almost impossible for me to win both. Kesler in the two remaining leagues--he's been close to useless. Kronwall in the two remaining--he's gone pretty cold. The other guy that is worth mentioning just because he sucks so bad and I now cannot stand him is St. Louis. 4 points in 17 games. Screw you, man. Its to the point where I'm badly hoping for an injury so I can call up Carl freaking Soderberg because he at least has a chance of scoring a point.

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
I have to pull someone up from my farm in place of Iginla while he is out for the B's. Anyone with strong feelings about which option to go with:
Carl Soderberg: Tues @ Minn; Thu @ Wpg; Sat vs. Buf; Sun @ NJ
Reilly Smith: Tues @ Minn; Thu @ Wpg; Sat vs. Buf; Sun @ NJ
Mark Stone: Tues @ NYI; Thu vs. NJ; Sat vs. Tor; Sun @ Pit
I also have MacArthur, who plays on a line with Stone. If it's a coin flip as between the three, I'd probably go with Stone since I am attempting to come back in the league, doubling up on that Ottawa line probably presents the best upside. At the same time, Boston may rest some guys which could see solid roles for Soderberg/Smith, and obviously Boston is the better team.

Soderberg's been on a pretty decent run as of late. That's about all I can contribute.
