Whats a good Pixies cd for a new fan? Like one that is loaded with there hits.

They have a greatest hits album that would be a great place to start. I find doolittle to be somewhat dull, Tromp Le Monde and Surfa Rosa are my favorites.

They actually have two greatest hits cds, Death to the Pixies or Wave of Mutilation. Which one is better?

I just looked at the track listing on doolittle, i take that back. It's right up there with the other two albums i mentioned for me. I guess I always just associated it with "debaser" "here comes your man" and "monkeys gone to heaven". Three of their "hits" that I always thought were overrated.
