I can take either/or, but I think that KSE got lazy towards the end with Howard. Times of Grace were enough to stoke KSE with Jesse. We've argued over this before. Though I would see and have seen KSE with both Howard and with Jesse, I just think Jesse is a better fit for the band and honestly should have never left in the first place. No slight on Howard though.

Re: Let's talk about music
The thing I dont like about Jesse is he CANNOT even remotely sing harmony like Howard can. The proof is in the pudding below. I know this seems like im beating this into the ground, but compare vocals. How in gods name can you say Jesse has better chops than Howard??

I think that Howard has a bit more range, but it's also a litte disingenuous to put a purely live Jesse performance against a DVD Howard performance.
I'm not proficient enough to post youtube from my iPad, but there are some good live Jesse shows as well.

One of the stories I read described how Richie Valens got one of the three seats because of a coin flip. Hard to imagine what Holly could have done if he'd lived to a normal lifespanGaucho wrote:55 years ago to the day, the music died.

Doyle wants to reunite The Misfits with Glenn on vocals. If this happen with Jerry, Doyle, Glenn, and some random drummer...ill be the first in line. It better work this time....

Re: Let's talk about music
If they wrote some good songs, it could certainly sell well. I just think Jerry has dragged the Misfits name through the mud a bit with his projects like that last album he put out as Misfits, which was really bad and also their live shows with him as lead singer..... I think they should have stuck with Graves as I actually liked that version of the band, but then Jerry started singing lead and it all went to crap. He is a surprisingly sloppy lead singer live. I thought he'd be better because he does have a great voice... very deep, very manly. I've seen him miss too many notes tough and it left a bad taste in my mouth. If they could get Glenn back and write some songs... maybe.FreeCandy44 wrote:Doyle wants to reunite The Misfits with Glenn on vocals. He has the best, most expressive, vibrato in all of metal. Imo, vibrato is what makes a string instrument come alive. No vibrato and it sounds lifeless. People look at how fast he can play, yet end up missing all the other things he does, even just the way his pick makes contact with a string... there really isn't a player like him that I know of.

I wonder if Joy Divison's Atmosphere isn't a partial rip-off of Lou Reed's Street Hassle.

Anyone into this band Chappo? Spotify recommended them this morning because of my interest in in Man Man. I dig. I'd say its like a Man Man Menomena baby playing in a garage.
