Just found out ill be out of starts for my forward positions in early February in my one league. I cannot express how ******* stupid that setting is.

It's basically punishment for having guys who are worthy enough to play every single game.

Im pretty sure leagues like that set up for 82 games per playable roster spot(when playable = active and non-playable = IR or Bench), but yeah its still stupid.

I always thought leagues like that involved too much micromanaging. If I'm complaining about micromanaging....yeah, stupid.

Is that the Yahoo Pittsburgh Penguins League? If so, I'm in that one. It is quite frustrating, but I understand the need to keep the playing filed somewhat leveled in that regard. You would think the games played numbers would be higher though based on the length of the season.

Quick and Lehtonen are obvious keepers, but its looking like Khudobin might be a keeper over Lehner this offseason.

I will be upset if he cements himself as a keeper. I held him for 2 months on IR after keeping as an expiring rookie.

I continue my streak of selecting the wrong goalie every day. Fortunately no goalies are playing today.

It'd be nice if Vancouver and LA were capable of scoring more than one goal per game. Maybe I'll try to swing one of them for Fleury so I can get more wins.

I just did my first every fantasy hockey league - yahoo, standard scoring rules I think. 10 team league - I had the #10 pick, and I missed the first two rounds, Kessel & Staal were autopicked:

C: Eric Staal, Anze Kopitar

LW: James Neal, Evander Kane

RW: Phil Kessel, Johan Franzen

D: Drew Doughty, Niklas Kronwall, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, James Wisniewski

G: Jonas Hiller, Niklas Backstrom

Utility: Patrick Sharp

Bench: Paul Stastny, Tyson Barrie, David Clarkson, Jonathan Bernier

Those are two tough rounds to miss. As a result you don't have stud goaltender to offset the lack of a stud forward. But if Staal has a bounce back year and Kessel lights it up, and if Minnesota is strong this year, and if Hiller or Bernier maintains a chokehold on the #1 job... just a lot of ifs.

Updated - moving up the standings thanks to some strong GM skills. (actually, i'm in a league that has a couple of teams that do not know what they are doing)

I agree, columbus' offense is so worthless they cant even get a halfway decent number of shots off to get me a good sv%. Ill take the win though.
