Lounge Forward sounds like Green Day when they were good.
That's on Me is also a pretty straight grunge song.

I saw Wavves perform Nine is God on Conan a couple of months ago.

It might've been the worst "live" performance I've ever seen. I thought they were a parody of a bad band at first.

Never heard that song.

But that sounds about right, the dude is a complete basket case. I saw one of his sets at south by southwest last year, it was an afternoon set, he wrecked someone's motor cycle the night before and posted a picture on twitter of the wound. He was hobbling around really bad.

I actually never heard that. Weird. Music sounds good. Not sure about the singing, but it's hard to be compared to Robert Plant.

Also listened to the original by some guy named Jake Holmes. Weird.

That song is forever stamped into my brain by LedZep.

Hard to believe such idiots exist. It must be embarrassing to be shown like that.

I only listened to two songs, but that singer is completely tone-deaf. And he dances like Boy George.

I don't mean to be a dick. I know they're hugely popular and accomplished. I'm just surprised by at least that showing.

Do you even know Morrissey, the Flaming Lips, and Yoko Ono? I'm asking because you have a strange way of talking about these ... renowned artists.

Yoko is not renowned. Atleast not for her music.

She recorded some decent albums in the 70s, actually. She's not much of a singer, though.

If I had to pick a perfect example of something of thrash metal for someone who has never heard it, and I couldn't pick a Metallica song off of Master of Puppets, this would be my next choice. Just perfect.
