Like the feel, but I can't get it to tune standard because the strings are so damn thick.

LOL... 11-Gauge Strings are not something I'd use for "finger style" but they'd be awesome for slide.

I had 10s before the high E broke while I was down-tuning (of all the ways to break a string).

I really just wanted something that would stay in tune better.

That song is pretty damn good. Motorhead type of vibe I get from it. That honestly doesn't even sound much like Jason, but maybe I'm just used to hearing him live.

I definitely dig it and spot on about the Motorhead comparison. I know they spent the summer on Megadeth's Gigantour and I believe the guitarist from Staind plays with them live. This also makes me miss Jason in Metallica. If not for anything but the vocals.
