exactly - which is why fighting isn't going anywhere. it's victimless (you can argue bogard if you like, but you'd be wrong), it doesn't negatively affect players that matter, players like it, GMs like it, owners like it, the majority of fans like it, broadcasters like it...everyone that matters likes it aside from a small faction of fans (who are outnumbered by its supporters).

Parros was fighting Orr because PK Subban wouldn't. Subban got himself in trouble, turtled, and Parros had to come in and protect his guy.

But weren't the assaults caused by fights from the previous game with them? If the original fights didn't happen, the assaults would not be necessary.

The pens laughing on the bench were cited as an insigator. Ban that, too?

The bad stuff was punished. The fights all involved willing participants. It wasn't pretty, but it wasn't disgusting either.
