Re: Other NHL games
Honestly, I think we handled the Bruins' pressure much better than the 'Hawks are (only counting their OT/ours). Not really a great comparison since we were fighting for our lives, but the Bruins' pressure is pretty impressive.

That Horton injury certainly was odd.

I am confused. I thought Rask had an impenetrable wall behind him? What is that 3 doing beside Chicago?

The goals are a touch wider in Chicago.

Boston's D just continues to impress me. There's NEVER a man around the net unless there's at least one Bruin making his life miserable.

Glad you can literally mug a guy in the crease on OT.

Re: Other NHL games
Can anyone get a second chance against the B's? Every rush seems to be "one and done".
(sorry for sounding like a Boston 'fan boy'. I'm actually rooting for the 'Hawks)

Re: Other NHL games
Both I guess. The players themselves aren't all-stars (excepting Chara). So probably more the system.Sarcastic wrote:Specifically, the players or the system they're using?ExPatriatePen wrote:Boston's D just continues to impress me. Re: Other NHL games
I have a Ference-signed Pens jersey. Still one of my favorite players.
Cheering for Chicago though, 'cause I like Toews and Sharp, and having Saad win would be cool.
Other star players who signed that jersey include Oliwa and Barnaby.

Re: Other NHL games
I keep asking myself if their D players are quietly underrated. Would they be so much better than our guys? I honestly don't know. That big guy McQuaid is impressive, imo. But they have got to be coached really well to look this good.ExPatriatePen wrote:Both I guess. The players themselves aren't all-stars (excepting Chara). Re: Other NHL games
Wow. The momentum in this game keeps going back and forth.
I can see this going 3 or 4 OT's
