Yeah....down here decent full time day care is $3,500 a month. Part time (4 hours a day 5x a week) is $1,500 a month. Those are not in home day care providers. They are "learning centers". The cheapest in home day care we found is only $150 a week but she is full until this winter. We are first in line to get in. We know the person and totally trust her. All other in home day cares seemed shady to us. Darn our high standards.

I got 1 stalk of fresh rhubarb in my farmer's co-op this week. All the recipes I see on google are basically some variation of a sweet (pie, muffin, marmalade), which I'm not a fan of. Is there any other simple way to use this, in more of a main dish or side salad type of dish? Maybe not, since it looks like a veggie/celery type, but more of a fruit?
