Re: Blackhawks
I haven't paid as much attention to the west this year as previous years. Though this steak is impressive, is it a factor of the Blackhawks being that amazing, the west bring in a down year or both/neither?

Re: Blackhawks
The Blackhawks are playing really good hockey. They seem to be buzzing in every game, they have terrific puck support all over the rink...it looks like they play with 6 skaters all the time...their system is obviously terrific because Crawford and Emery aren't that good...especially the latter...another exhibition in goaltender being the least important position in today's game, but that's another thread...

Streak or no streak.. There are three teams in the west better than Chicago...
St. Louis, Anaheim and San Jose.

Re: Blackhawks
St. Louis doesn't look better than Chicago. Their defense and goaltending have been very shaky all year. Halak can't stay healthy.marek wrote:Streak or no streak.. There are three teams in the west better than Chicago...
St. Louis, Anaheim and San Jose.
Anaheim might be the closest currently, but how long until Fasth comes back to Earth? (Remember Patrick Lalime?)
San Jose. They have 47 goals for. Not even close to the offensive output of the Blackhawks.
At this moment, none of these teams compare to the hawks. Sure, that could change and Chicago could lose to someone in the 1st round.
