I thought he was just off on a wild crazy tangent trying to get a rise out of Cook, but when a caller brought it up again at the end of the show he insisted that it was in fact a major component for hockey fans.

Oh come on, I listened to the same show and he said no such thing. He said it might be a reason for a few people. And if you don't believe that there are a few people out there who like hockey because it's primarily white, you're delusional.

Ive actually heard multiple state they like hockey because it's only white guys. It's disgusting, but that sentiment does exist

JR was a morning show host on 100.7, part of the CBS "family" ... he is a DJ and may get some PT work as a sports show host but he won't be the new Jon Burton. Chances are the "new Burton" will be alot like the old Kalena Bell.

Well .. driving home from a Pens game once I heard the X (network) play back a locker room interview with Letang that was all Colony questions .. it happens in scrum interviews. Plus, it would probably surprise many of us who are hardcore sports followers that most people don't recognize who is asking the questions.

A guy here at work used to work in radio, he told me that radio DJ's make meager salaries. I was just glad to know some of those guys aren't getting compensated well for their crappy product.
