Re: Tombstone Warz Game Thread
Willie Kool was having a drink at the Capital Saloon when Gaucho thought he saw a glimpse of red coming from under his coat. "He must be a Cowboy!"
Kraftster was playing a game of faro with NAN and TheHammer24 nearby and overhead Gaucho. "Let's get him!" They cried. Soon a posse had formed to lynch poor Willie. Willie tried to explain that he was just a simple villager, but the town wanted blood. They strung him up and that was the end of Willie Kool.
Players remaining.

The tombstone has already been prepared for Willie Kool in the Boot Hill Cemetary. It reads:
Here lies villager Willie Kool
The Cowboys made the town act a fool

Night 2
John “Doc” Holliday was known as Doc as he received the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery (now University of Pennsylvania). Originally from Georgia he first moved West with the belief that the dry climate would help fight his tuberculosis condition. He also allegedly killed some black Union soldiers for swimming in a watering hole normally reserved for white folks.
Doc became friends with Wyatt Earp during their time in Dodge City when he defended Wyatt in a saloon against a handful of cowboys.
After Willie Kool's hanging, Doc returned to his game of faro at the Capital Saloon. One of his playing partners claimed Doc had cheated, and threatened to kill him. Doc said "I was playing square. If you want to fight, I'll be your huckleberry!" The other man quickly backed down.
After a couple more faro games and a lot more shots of whiskey, Doc stumbled out of the Saloon onto the streets of Tombstone. A rain began to fall, and that is when Doc heard a voice cry "I'll be your huckleberry!"

I am strongly leaning towards a vote on MWB. The angel usually never has consecutive night protects. If Kraftster indeed protected MWB on the first night, he would have had to protect himself the second night (at least, that would have been the smartest play). I'm calling shenanigans.

Re: Tombstone Warz Game Thread
Am I making an error in my analysis? The only ostensible outcome from the first night is that the angel protected MWB (unless SDD decided to just out MWB as a blue in the writeup for no foreseeable reason). Why wouldn't Kraftster protect himself on night 2? Maybe he had consecutive night protects, I have no idea.
All that being said, I can't remember ever playing a Warz game where the status of a player was outed on the first night, especially prior to the unique sheriff vote we had to start the game.
If this makes people vote for me, fair enough.

Re: Tombstone Warz Game Thread
almost every mod changes up the angel role. I've even seen some where the angel could not self protect. So, either you are reading way too much into it, or you are a Clanton.

Since Kraftster is dead, there's no reason to believe that he had a protect last night.shafnutz05 wrote:I am strongly leaning towards a vote on MWB. Maybe I'm just reading way too much into it.
I think I am still just thrown off that SDD "revealed the role" of one of the players prior to the game even starting.

Right, especially if he didnt protect himself on night 1. Which is why i dont think that makes any sense by virtue of modus tollens. If A then B. Not B so not A. He must not have protected MWB night 1.
this needs to be looked at in your "vacuum". Were any of the games your referencing mod'ed by SDD? If not, then take it as a stand alone example and dont put so much stock in it. .shafnutz05 wrote:All that being said, I can't remember ever playing a Warz game where the status of a player was outed on the first night, especially prior to the unique sheriff vote we had to start the game.

Fair enough, I'm sure it was nothing and MWB is blue. I'll move on.

In the WK lynch write-up Kraftster appeared Blue. As such, I highly doubt the write up color means anything.

Correct. Didn't Kraftster basically say what the angel did in night one (at least "in theory")?shafnutz05 wrote:Fair enough, I'm sure it was nothing and MWB is blue. I'll move on.

Kraftster wrote:Well, I guess I've never understood the thinking of protecting yourself on Night 1. In most games the angel cannot protect himself on consecutive nights. If I am red, I always assume that the angel is exposed on even nights because most of the time the angel protects himself on Night 1, thus setting up a 3, 5, 7, etc. protection sequence.
I guess the unstated premise of my conclusion that they are equally likely is "assuming its equally likely that the angel would protect himself or someone else." You guys don't agree with that, and, you're probably right that its more likely the angel protected himself. I just don't see SDD misleading us.

you dont think that SDD might have made a mistake and is now trying to put the blue coloring into overdrive to make it seem like it was always his intention to color unknowns blue until otherwise?TheHammer24 wrote:In the WK lynch write-up Kraftster appeared Blue. Re: Tombstone Warz Game Thread
That obviously doesnt account for last night, but seems to heavily imply what happened night one.
