Sutter Bowl. Wonder how many times this has happened, since there seem to be at least 7 teams coached by Sutters in the NHL at any given time.

With $25 and a Student ID, you get lower bowl tickets in Columbus for whenever they play any game...profpolisci wrote:wow

Or you can by the cheap seats and move down to the lower bowl since there's probably only 10,000 people (if that)

The Hurricanes have Teacher Appreciation Nights where you can get lower bowl tickets with your school ID for $25 bucks. I've sat on the glass there for $35.

I sat at the top of the lower section of the ACC to watch the Pens play for about 250 a ticket.

i'm convinced that sometime last year, the league told refs to start calling more penalty shots. i've seen more bogus penalty shots called in the last 2 years than i have in the 10-15 years prior .

They are getting called at key times too. It would be interesting to see what % of the penalty shots awarded are to the losing team in the final 10 min of the 3rd period vs other situations.shmenguin wrote:http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck- ... 46290.html

LA and EDM in OT.
The Caps are now 3rd in the conference (with 50 points). That alone might be enough to justify the eventual realignment.

Ci can be confusing...I had to check nhl.com to make sure I was watching a live game in VAN.
That's interesting that Teemu gave up his spot on the all star team for Perry.

Dang but this is a beat down. Wonder if the Ducks can climb back?...I figure they'll have to win 7/8 out of every 10
