With $25 and a Student ID, you get lower bowl tickets in Columbus for whenever they play any game...

Or you can by the cheap seats and move down to the lower bowl since there's probably only 10,000 people (if that)

The Hurricanes have Teacher Appreciation Nights where you can get lower bowl tickets with your school ID for $25 bucks. I've sat on the glass there for $35.

i'm convinced that sometime last year, the league told refs to start calling more penalty shots. i've seen more bogus penalty shots called in the last 2 years than i have in the 10-15 years prior .

They are getting called at key times too. It would be interesting to see what % of the penalty shots awarded are to the losing team in the final 10 min of the 3rd period vs other situations.
