"Staal scored against the Isles, who cares? He still sucks" or "Great! Martin was a plus against Carolina, who absolutely sucks. You can barely count that game."

Yet when AO has good games against crappy teams it's all

The difference(and its a huge difference) is that AO is probably the most hot/cold player in the game. When he's hot, it doesn't matter who he's playing against, so if that gets him going, then he's going.

I just flipped on VS to see the SJ/VAN game and it's going to take a while to get used to the NBC logo.
Whether or not it makes sense, it's lends some needed credibility to the league.
