Is Sierra Nevada's winter ale, Celebration, any good?

i liked it. shaffer might just be a little whiney baby about the bitterness. it tasted, to me, like it could be had any time of the year. it didn't strike me as a christmas ale. still good though. nice bitter, hoppy, citrusy IPA.

Had Abita Turbo Dog last week, dark brown ale, quite tasty.

Looks interesting. I'll be on the lookout for that.

Its very good. I had Turbo Dog with my spicy jambalaya at NOLA in Market Square. It was a pretty nice pairing.

MWB - Not a huge DFH fan, but Immort Ale is one of their best beers. Outside of Palo Santo Marron, it's probably my favorite.

Just had the Immortal Ale. Really, really good. Unique flavors and a lot of depth. The more I drank the better it got.

Jynt Iggle also only had the Abita Purple Haze, but at least they had some Abita.

Related/unrelated: I was a huge fan of Penn Pilsner lo so many years ago, then it started to give me headaches, so I stopped drinking it. Then recently, RtBG (Randy the Beer Guy) told me that the brewery changed its water, which likely caused the problems for me. Anyone else hear that?
