i liked it. shaffer might just be a little whiney baby about the bitterness. it tasted, to me, like it could be had any time of the year. it didn't strike me as a christmas ale. still good though. nice bitter, hoppy, citrusy IPA.

Looks interesting. I'll be on the lookout for that.
Its very good. I had Turbo Dog with my spicy jambalaya at NOLA in Market Square. It was a pretty nice pairing.
Thanks for the heads-up, Kraftster. I do de-claya that I'll be heading to NOLA for that very com-bone-ation very soon. :thumb:

MWB - Not a huge DFH fan, but Immort Ale is one of their best beers. Outside of Palo Santo Marron, it's probably my favorite.
Just had the Immortal Ale. Really, really good. Unique flavors and a lot of depth. The more I drank the better it got.

Related/unrelated: I was a huge fan of Penn Pilsner lo so many years ago, then it started to give me headaches, so I stopped drinking it. Then recently, RtBG (Randy the Beer Guy) told me that the brewery changed its water, which likely caused the problems for me. Anyone else hear that?

Drinking Stegmaier Winter Warmer tonight. Quite good. Malty, with caramel undertones. I like it.

Anyone been out to Full Pint Brewery on route 30? Cool place to check out, get hammered on good beer on the cheap and pick up some x-mas gifts.
