I got Gingerbread on my Droid X a while ago. I got a Verizon update earlier this fall. No updates available for my phone right now.ulf wrote:I got the gingerbread update two weeks ago on mine, so i'm assuming that's what he got?Digitalgypsy66 wrote:Ice cream? I'm not entirely sure that the Droid X is getting Ice Cream Sandwich. It hasn't been announced yet I believe.

I've definitely noticed a difference, for the better, in battery consumption.stopper40 wrote:I got the update for my incredible this morning. Getting rid of it in a couple weeks, but got the update nonetheless.Twisted Wrister wrote:I got the OTA update for my t-bolt this morning.

Re: How many of you own a droid?
Wow...I was going to come on here and say the exact same thing! My X has been very sluggish. Like a 3-5 second (or more) delay in button presses. Sometimes the Swype keyboard works, sometimes it doesn't...or it will suggest a word, and you click on the word...and nothing happens.
I'm wondering if it's because the phones are now 15-18 months old now and need to be reformatted like a PC's hard drive. I got mine in October 2010, and I'm not eligible for a new one until May.![Popcorn :pop:](./images/smilies/popcorn.gif)

Re: How many of you own a droid?
Had an android device for 2 years. Now have an Iphone. It pains me how much better the Iphone is, now when I download apps I don't have to worry about them screwing with the function of my phone and slowing it down. So sad cause the RAZR looks kick effin butt.

Actually what they're doing is lowering the price of he Razr from $299 to $199 and selling the Maxx for $299 which if you're renewing you'll get it for $249 with your renewal bonus. At least that's how I'm assuming it's going to work because I was this close to ordering the Razr

Re: How many of you own a droid?
I haven't really had many issues with my X. On the occasion that it slows down, I'll run a task killer and it generally clears right up.

You can use them all on any devices. Phone, tablet, gtv.thepittman wrote:It's tied to your google account.cheesesteakwithegg wrote:Speaking of apps..the wicked child wrote:Amazon free app of the day is Quickoffice Pro. $15 app for free.
When I upgrade my phone on within the next month, will I be able to take all of the apps that I paid for already to my new phone, or will I need to repurchase all of them?
