My girlfriend had one of those for a week as a loaner. I really like Android and have used it since the G1, but that thing was so loaded with bloatware. All the manufacturers put custom interfaces on Android to differentiate themselves. To me it just looked like a cluttered mess. I'd probably try disabling HTC Sense (their interface) and getting rid of a bunch of those widgets.

As of late, it seems like Facebook is only syncing once or twice a day. It's very annoying as I then have to flip through a **** ton of updates to clear them out... many of which I have seen already since Ive gone to the site in the meantime.

Ok, I just got an OTA update from Verizon. My phone is (or seems) to be a little quicker. Anyone have a changelist?

Nope, I got the download on Saturday, didn't notice anything, which is fine by me. I loved my X in it's current state.

It looks like it was a bug fix for just the Droid X. My phone is running better, although it wasn't that bad before. I haven't had to reboot the phone to send a text or outgoing call yet. :D

Yea, I must have been one of the lucky people (knock on wood). I've never had an issue with my X, and the only time I did? I illegally rooted it haha.

Got the OTA as well, I also thought my phone seemed a bit quicker. it still occasionally restarts on its own after I shut it off though, hoping this fixed it...

Speaking of apps..

When I upgrade my phone on within the next month, will I be able to take all of the apps that I paid for already to my new phone, or will I need to repurchase all of them?

Ice cream? Or is it a carrier specific OS update only?

does anyone use "Remote for Itunes" app? Well worth the money, especially if you have speakers wired through the house with access to your itunes. Also great for parties, connects easily.

I got the gingerbread update two weeks ago on mine, so i'm assuming that's what he got?
