The market sucks and I do not expect the pens to sign anyone other than tk/jagr.

If TK isn't back in the fold by noon...don't expect Shero to try and match the 3M offers he'll be seeing from some teams. Jagr is anyone's best guess?

Honestly, I think they are just preparing just in case.

Like I said, it's just like when cities plan out the victory parade before the finals are complete. You want all the preparations done before hand so you aren't rushing at the last minute.

I just think this shows that there is interest on both sides (which we already knew), but nothing is a done deal. (yet)

Whoever said it was dead on: this team is much worse without TK in it and someone else to fill the empty spot.

Also why is everyone souring on Letestu. He is clearly bylsma's boy, centered the top line last year, and played very well.

If Kennedy isn't resigned and we don't sign Jagr, then we are definitely either A) going after a free agent or B) making a trade.

I would say making a trade is a lot more probable because of the slim pickings on the market right now. We have pieces we can move.

Yeah, but he'll use Letestu/Jeffrey and Dupuis on rw for the top lines. And near trade deadline he trades for some upcoming ufa

Letestu played well in the first half. Not so much the rest of the way. Certainly his injury could be to blame, but he was pretty blah on his return.

Leino, Cole and Gagne could all be targets that would more than fill any void we have if we miss out on TK and Jagr.

Yeah, but he'll use Letestu/Jeffrey and Dupuis on rw for the top lines. And near trade deadline he trades for some upcoming ufa

I don't think he'll use Letestu / Jeffrey on that 2nd line, but even if he does the other guy centers Adams / Asham. I like Rupp, but with how tight we are on the cap it doesn't make much sense to use that space on him imo (unless they do completely strike out today and he replaces Asham on 4th line / Asham moves to third)

I know Brunette is a LW and think he'll go back to the Wild, but I like him a lot. I wouldn't mind the Pens adding him for the 2nd and Upshall for the 3rd.

Shero never gives any details, he basically said anything can happen. Jagr thing was 1st time he ever talked about a player that wasn't on the roster, and that is because:

1. His agent is a !@##$! and forced him to do
2. Probably some strategy since Jagr wants to feel loved
