Don Cherry does it again

I wish this guy was an American. Even so, I've got even more respect for him after this one. Guy stands up for the military, America (except when it's 'ockey) and hates leftists. Love it. And who could have thought someone could make a pink suit look so masculine? Only Grapes.

I can't say I agree with his nativist angle, but whatever.
His crazy uncle, who drinks too much and offends everyone at Christmas dinner routine is pretty damn entertaining.
And Coach's Corner is essential hockey viewing.

Don Cherry is the man. I don't always agree with him about hockey, but I generally do...he's a beauty. If I had the money, I'd wear a Don Cherry suit every time I coached...

If he were a little less hard on the ears, eyes, French and Euros, then I'd like him.

I'm similar. I'm Canadian, but I'm more of a conservative than anything. They are out there. Usually they live in thickly wooded areas and shoot stuff with rifles.

Meh, I can take him or leave him. But I do admire his ability to tick off as many people as humanly possible.

Word.
I'd wear them suits too, but you've got to be SPECIAL to carry it off successfully. A man has to know his limitations, so I stick with the simple black Ts.
That's precisely the reason to like him. ??? NOBODY likes the French, not even other Francs. Look at that World Cup soccer debacle.Mongoose87 wrote:If he were a little less hard on the ears, eyes, French and Euros, then I'd like him.
You're French or French-Canadian, aren't you?

I have French ancestry and I think he's hilarious. I don't understand when people get their panties in a bunch because he says something off the wall or completely racist. He's paid to be entertaining and he's done an outstanding job over the years.penmyst wrote:mikey287 wrote:Don Cherry is the man. If Luke Steelerstahl had to wear all those medals Rob Ford does, he'd fall over.
I find grapes occasionally maddening but generally I like the guy. Even when I find him maddening he cracks me up.

Re: Don Cherry does it again
Don Cherry is just one of those guys where I don't always agree with everything he has to say, but can't help but still love him. I remember there was an SI article about him and he went off ranting about some taxi he was riding in. The car was some kind of obscure european model and he called it a "communist piece of crap"
My husband and I watched this video several times and laughed. And I *like* his suits, thank you very much.

This is Toronto.mac5155 wrote:lol, where was this speech given? is he complaining in parliament or something?
Rob Ford is the new Toronto Mayor, and he's a good friend of Mr. Cherry.
Apparently, the leftists are out of control there and have destroyed the city. They are planning on foiling this guy as well. But when you have THAT suit on Ford's side, I'm betting on him to win lol.

Rob Ford is on crack and I can`t believe that city elected him. Everyone in this city has pretty much at his election. The dude`s the real life version of Peter Griffin.penmyst wrote:steelhammer wrote:Left-wing newspapers? Rob Ford is a dumb and obnoxious protofascist piece of sheite. I'm sure he and Cherry get along well.
