I'm similar. I'm Canadian, but I'm more of a conservative than anything. They are out there. Usually they live in thickly wooded areas and shoot stuff with rifles.

I have French ancestry and I think he's hilarious. I don't understand when people get their panties in a bunch because he says something off the wall or completely racist. He's paid to be entertaining and he's done an outstanding job over the years.

Don Cherry is just one of those guys where I don't always agree with everything he has to say, but can't help but still love him. I remember there was an SI article about him and he went off ranting about some taxi he was riding in. The car was some kind of obscure european model and he called it a "communist piece of crap"
