Okay so I was watching Community last week (which was an awesome episode) and I noticed that towards the end of the episode there was a woman giving birth in the background. I thought it was just a funny gag tossed in by the writers or something. Apparently there was an entire Ahbed storyline in the background the whole episode.

Okay so I was watching Community last week (which was an awesome episode) and I noticed that towards the end of the episode there was a woman giving birth in the background. Yeah I noticed that early on. This a gimmick that they don't do enough of on TV.

Back in high school, our one history teacher had us make a video about a time period in history. It was typical to have gags going on in the background of the main story as a way to add humor to the usually dry material. One skit involved me running around wildly with drum sticks coming out of my nose.

Holy Crap, I never noticed that for a second. That is genious. The only thing i noticed was shirley toward the end saying something like "Abed, we barely saw any of you today" and I thought it was just making a joke how he wasnt in the storyline at all. Turns out he was That is awesome.

Hmmm the Garfield Movie as opposed to Garfield and Friends is a major letdown. However, the Adam We (lol), Batman episodes are going to be clutch. Loved that as a child, even still have the movie on VHS.
