Re: TV Shows
The last 30-45 second clips after the last commercial breaks on Community that have nothing to do with the plot are amazing.

Discovery Kids network is going to become The Hub on October 10th. Why is this important? Well, because it will be showing old Transformers, G.I. Joe, Garfield and Friends, The Wonder Years, Doogie Howser, Fraggle Rock, Men in Black: The Series, and Batman: The Animated Series.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Re: TV Shows
Garfield and Friends is actually just the Garfield movie, and Batman: The Animated Series is actually Batman Beyond. BUT the Adam West Batman TV show WILL be on.Chefpatrick871 wrote:nocera wrote:Discovery Kids network is going to become The Hub on October 10th. Why is this important? Re: TV Shows
Okay so I was watching Community last week (which was an awesome episode) and I noticed that towards the end of the episode there was a woman giving birth in the background. I thought it was just a funny gag tossed in by the writers or something. Apparently there was an entire Ahbed storyline in the background the whole episode.

Yeah I noticed that early on. This a gimmick that they don't do enough of on TV.PensFanInDC wrote:Okay so I was watching Community last week (which was an awesome episode) and I noticed that towards the end of the episode there was a woman giving birth in the background. Back in high school, our one history teacher had us make a video about a time period in history. It was typical to have gags going on in the background of the main story as a way to add humor to the usually dry material. One skit involved me running around wildly with drum sticks coming out of my nose.

Re: TV Shows
Holy Crap, I never noticed that for a second. That is genious. The only thing i noticed was shirley toward the end saying something like "Abed, we barely saw any of you today" and I thought it was just making a joke how he wasnt in the storyline at all. Turns out he was That is awesome.PensFanInDC wrote:Okay so I was watching Community last week (which was an awesome episode) and I noticed that towards the end of the episode there was a woman giving birth in the background. Hmmm the Garfield Movie as opposed to Garfield and Friends is a major letdown. However, the Adam We (lol), Batman episodes are going to be clutch. Loved that as a child, even still have the movie on VHS.
