Doug Wilson (BadHands71) approached the podium to give a speech titled "How To Build A Perfect Regular Season Team That Drops A Big Deuce In The Playoffs". He took out his notes and placed them on the podium in front of him when he noticed his feet were getting wet. The floor was soaked. He looked down and noticed a wire leading around the stage and out towards the back of the conference room where the WC GMs had elected Scott Howson (LITT) to pull the switch on the breaker box, and he did just that.

The light flickered and then went out as sparks flew.

When the emergency lights came back on, the GMs were amazed to see that.....

Doug Wilson (BadHands71), a regular GM was still smoldering on the stage and that Scott Howson (LITT) was still ok.

Meanwhile....


Brian Lawton (sdm5055) was trying to figure out how he still had a job. He is pacing the back of the conference room (amid the smoke still rising from Doug Wilson's corpse) thinking, "I signed Ryan Malone. Why didn't we win a cup this year!?" The EC GMs had enough of that nonsense and they proceeded to drag him outside. Once on the beach they asked if he had any final words.

"I SIGNED RYAN MALONE! I'M A GENIUS!"

It wasn't enough to save him OR Rick Tochett. The EC GMs raised a sheet to reveal Tochett buried neck deep in the sand with another hole beside it. They put Lawton in the whole and filled it with sand. Slowly the tide came in and drown the 2 together.

Washed up on the shore was his Conference badge. It read:
