Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
After a long night out on the town, Jaromir Jagr (dagny) and Michael Peca (Juice) begin to bicker on their way home.
"Stop it"
"No You stop it!"
![Image](http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xc/81349234.jpg?v=1&c=IWSAsset&k=2&d=17A4AD9FDB9CF1934B869679A269F9CC1C9A27E1429D42FC26FD13ED7B73D4BC)
"This is why no one likes you Peca"
"Whatever you say, why dont you move to Russia or something"
And they go their separate ways, promising they would not talk to each other ever again. How right they were.
The village awakens the next morning to find each of them -- DEAD. Or worse, in the KHL! With Jaromir Jagr - Dagny (Superstar) and Michael Peca - Juice (Superstar) both dead and gone, the village finds itself in an early hole. Suspects abound.
Still alive in BUTTMANVILLE:
1. Beerman - Rico Fata
2. Shafnutz - Bob Errey
3. Pavel Bure
4. Troy Loney
5. Cup Keeper - Don Cherry
6. crayz - Ogie Ogilthrope (we can let it slide)
7. dagny - Jaromir Jagr
8. Malkamaniac - Marty Straka
9. sdm5055 - Steve McKenna
10. mac5155 - Joe Dziedzic
11. MWB - Jiri Slegr
12. Zarovich - Marian Hossa
13. Redwill - Joey Mullen
14. Azkar - Pierre McGuire
15. Senka - Ryan Whitney
16. count2infinity - Eddie Olczyk
17. npv708 - Charlie Conway
18. Juice - Michael Peca
19. JS(c) - Gary Roberts
20. Kicksave - Chris Bourque
21. Hockeyguru - Dino Ciccarelli
22. jaysmiter - Wojtek Wolski
23. tfrizz - Joe Sakic
24. PFiDC - Ian Moran
25. IrishEyes - Superstar Max Talbot
26. jwienand - Scott Hartnell
With 24 players left, you need 13 to waive, otherwise leading vote getter at 10:45 PM Tuesday evening.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
waive Dino Ciccarelli
2 reasons:
1) He is new, first time player...which usually means they end up confusing us later on or don't play
2) He asked if he should reply to all mods - that makes me think he is an RP and since he was wasn't killed on night one by whatever the bad people are....that makes me think he is a bad people.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
I don't like killing a possible role player this early in the game. I'm only OK with the Malkamaniac waive because he's instantly on the "this is bad" routine even though it's only 2 people down in a 26 player game and neither was a role player. Typically it's a mob play to make an obvious "this is bad" comment to try and look sympathetic with the town.

I agree that Malkamaniac's comment theoretically looks a little suspicious. I'd be willing to switch to him.Pavel Bure wrote:I don't like killing a possible role player this early in the game. However, what's with your comment about not liking "killing a possible role player this early in the game"? Who likes that? What gives you any indication of who's a possible role-player?

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
Like I said in my post...If he is an RP, why wouldn't bad guys kill him right away? I'm a little leery on trusting "RP's this game"...after zaro did some good damage to the last game as a evil detective.

Re: NHL WARS I GAME THREAD
There's too many reasons to count. It could be they didn't pick up on it. It could be they wanted someone they consider a more dangerous player out of the way rather than a noob. It could be like you said and he's bad. There's various other reasons but naming them all only serves to muddy up the game. At this point waiving him based simply because you think you picked up on him being a RP of some sort is very thin. I'd rather go with a proven mafia tell than risk killing a useful RP this early on.crayz wrote:Like I said in my post...If he is an RP, why wouldn't bad guys kill him right away? Basically we have the info that he's most likely a RP, so it's not like he's going to go unnoticed the rest of the game.
