Re: *** SLUG WARS I GAME THREAD ***
I think the alpha is a vet, and they will continue killing village vets. they already have a huge advantage in taking out beerman. now they whittle down our good players and we continue to panic earyl and throw around accusations.
I'd say list teh top 5 players left in the game whose identity is unknown. these are probabyl the next 5 to eat eated, converted, or already a slugg.

I contend that it is 2nd/3rd level thinking on the alphas part to recruit inactives while killing high profile players. You're saying it's the simple strategy?

Ah, but there's a problem with this. I do believe that's what happened so far, but if it is what happened, and we all have it figured out... the alpha may change their tactics.neophool wrote:I think the alpha is a vet, and they will continue killing village vets. they already have a huge advantage in taking out beerman. now they whittle down our good players and we continue to panic earyl and throw around accusations.

Re: *** SLUG WARS I GAME THREAD ***
i don't know what happened to my post...
i'm not writing that out again....basically saying people like beerman, canaan, NAN are all going to start accusing each other at some point if any of them are villagers...atlaest thats how it was when i was alpha....
i just see the alpha following a simple strategy of kill-nan....recruit zarovich...
i'd actually rather start on some active players with lower profiles....but i'm suspicious of everyone right now...

Re: *** SLUG WARS I GAME THREAD ***
neophool is like Silent Bob - he suddenly says something at the end of "Clerks" and surprises everybody.
I suspect the alpha will recruit across the spectrum, and kill off the veterans he doesn't recruit.
Anyone have a current vote count? Is it Canaan in the lead with PFIDC and Zarovich close behind, and a slew of people with a vote or two?

Re: *** SLUG WARS I GAME THREAD ***
Okay. Even saying the heck with trying to figure out what strategy the slugs are using, it's obvious that they're getting the good players out of the way. This is why I was saying that the alpha (or possibly a recruit) is a veteran player.
I realize that it's probably not smart to help them by also getting rid of good players, but how else are we supposed to find them? Juice, you want to salt Zaro? Fine.
unsalt canaan
salt zarovich
Anything to get this moving. I feel like I'm missing something really obvious, but maybe I need another to pass before I get it.

alright, lets get a solid list of the top 10 players still alive (i guess vet-wise, figuring-out-stuff-wise, and good-looks-wise) whose true identity is now known.
i'm cookin' up a theory, along with this delicious turkey melt.
