I didn't watch him too much after he started bouncing around from Ducks to a slew of other teams. From the sounds of it, the foot problem that started while he was with the Penguins was really the biggest thing that made his play fall off. Retiring at age 32.

Good luck to him! He is a natural to be talking NHL; could easily replace roenick today.

I enjoyed this and was coming to post. Whitney has a great wit/comic sense. One day he should be talking about hockey. His russian coach calling him "Obama" funny. :D

Reading this helps to understand what Jaromir, Koltsov, Evgeni and many more, were faced with when arriving in the USA.
