This kid is coming to the NHL. Going to be UFA. Small but skilled. Would be nice if Pens could get a shot at signing him.

kid looks like he is a finisher. Makes you wonder if his game will translate into the NHL well. It always seems like a gamble.

Not much of a gamble. They'd only be on the hook for an entry level contract I believe.

Skill? Skill is borderline useless in today's NHL. The real questions are:

1. How good is he at fighting through inteference?

2. How good is he at interfering?

3. Can he hack in rebounds with 4 defenders within 2 feet of the net trying to block his shot on the rare occasion his teammates shot from the outside actually makes it to the net?

Take it for what's it worth, both Hockey Futures and Bleacher report say he is close to signing with the Blackhawks
