Any reason Edzo's son was stripped of his captaincy this season?

He's not even an alternate. Just seemed odd.

I happened upon the yearbook the other day at http://issuu.com/gopsusports/docs/2014- ... y_yearbook" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

I'll see tonight I guess... Tommy was the Tyler Kennedy of this team last year. Pretty fast, always gritty, but didn't seem to have a high amount of talent beyond that.

My wife's sister & her husband are going to the PSU game tonight. That's something else on our bucket list... for as often as we get to Altoona from VA, the trips to State College are few and far between...

It was a pretty good game. Lots of energy in the building. The line of Goodwin, Bailey, and Holstrom looked really good on the ice. Tommy gets the C taken away and scores on a penalty shot. Had a lot of fun, hopefully this season has better results than last season.

They had a bunch of interviews during the intermissions of players and Tommy struck me as a loud mouthed, full of himself sort of guy. Just judging by those few minutes, he's not the type of guy I would slap a C on, but again, it was only a few minutes of him talking.

My Friars are off to a little rough start at 2-3-1 but with 2 @ Ohio State (split), 2 @ North Dakota (loss and tie) and a home and home vs BU (split) the early schedule has been rough.

With Gillies back had hoped to get a fast start.

Robert Morris is off this weekend, but they're 7-0-1 and ranked 18th in the country. Schooley has turned them into a really solid team.

coming off an 8-26-2 season, the Nittany Lions are currently 5-1-2. They are now going into the heart of the season with UMass Lowell on the schedule next and then Big Ten hockey starts. It's a promising beginning, hopefully they keep it up throughout.

NBCSN is showing Jack Eichel and BU vs. BC on Friday at 8 EST. BC apparently has another horse who will go 3 or 4 in the coming draft behind McDavid/Eichel, Noah Hanifin. May try to watch or DVR this.

I only caught ~ half of.the first. Eichel showed a lot more presence than anyone else on the ice, but that was probably to be expected.

Honestly didn't notice the BC defenseman.
